Extra Innings in Champaign

Our long time friends, Dana and Kathy Brenner, were our hosts for a night of college baseball and bbq at one of their favorite local spots. Before heading to the game we had a short but sweet visit with their daughter Karissa, her hubby Andy and their adorable little boys. So fun to see the next generation of the Brenner clan. 

The game was College Baseball's Super Regional Final in Champaign, Illinois. This playoff featured the Fighting Illini vs Vanderbilt College from Tennessee. Go Blue and Orange!

      Vanderbilt hand the upper hand all night but we still enjoyed being there with our friends. 

After the game we enjoyed a tasty bbq brisket dinner at Black Dog Restaurant in Urbana. We were off and running the next morning but first we had a Muy Bueno breakfast of chorizo and eggs. Our compliments to the chef, my dear BFF. Good bye for now, it was great to see you.
