36 hours of driving across 8 states...we couldn't be more thankful that God kept us safe and for the perfect driving weather. No matter how many times we drive across the US we are always amazed by the beauty and diversity of our country. Once we made it out of California the gas prices alone gets 2 thumbs up. Then a nonstop drive-by of Vegas moved us quickly down the road to more beautiful scenery.

Now on to the open plains, prairies and farm lands of the Midwest.
Ahhh, the open road through Nevada, Arizona and Utah
After an early morning start on the west side of the Rockies we were greeted with gorgeous sunshine as we drove through Glenwood Canyon alongside the Colorado River.

You've heard of the Rocky Mountain High but even better is getting to share this trip together!
Friday afternoon traffic in central Nebraska. I think we can handle this.
We hit the 100,000 mile mark on the odometer today! That's a lot of fun miles and memories.
Thank you Lord for being with us all the way.

Wow, impressive trekking. Beautiful scenery indeed!
If you can go to Fundy National Park ((just across from Nova Scotia) you can walk in the ocean floor. It has the lowest tide in the world 2x/day (drops 40 feet) The park is absolutely beautiful!
Have a blast!
