Sunny skies, huge wide open spaces, friendly people and the birth place of Lorraine, that is what we found in the high desert mountain town of Silver City, New Mexico. It had been over 50 years since Lorraine had been there but we were able to find the little rural street where her family had lived.
We started the day by worshipping our Lord with other believers at the local Calvary Chapel. How neat to immediately feel like family because we are all brothers and sisters in Christ. As we sang familiar worship songs together, it was overwhelming to think that every where across the globe people were in unison worshipping God....what praise and honor he is worthy of !!!!!
As we drove across the picturesque countryside on our way to Carlsbad Caverns, we agree that New Mexico truly is the Land of Enchantment.
