Big Texas

A New Mexico morning begins with  an extra large size game of chess before heading into Big Texas.

Oh yes, we arrived at the long awaited visit to the "Big Texan" the home of the free 72 oz. steak
"if you eat it in an hour".

Here is the big ole'steak. What do you think, did Tom give it a go?
It was hard to pass up a good deal but he decided to "pay" for a more sensible size steak instead of "paying" later with a belly ache. His 18oz. ribeye was perfectly delicious!
From Big Hats to Big Boots, it's all Bigger in Texas

Oh my, you've only been gone a few days and you already have such fun photos and have made great stops! I'm really glad you decided to keep up with the blog again this trip; it's so fun being a tag-a-long from afar. :)

I've been checking the blog to follow you guys and now I feel so hungry. Love the diner run you guys are making. Now that steak... come on, that be one big ol' piece o' beef bruddah! Have a great trip (would a salad kill you?) and I'll keep checking up to make sure you git you some of dem finger lickin' BBQ ribs.

Can't wait to see where you go next. Nice hat!
