First stop on the road east is the Grand Canyon. It wasn't exactly on the agenda but how often do you get to stop and gaze into that beautiful expanse of God's handy work? Absolutely breathtaking!
Ranger Meadows was giving an impromtu lesson about the wildlife in the canyon.
And then we met up with Coco Joe, a hiker who has decided to join us for the rest of the trip. He loves riding on the dashboard and points out the sights along the way.

so glad you picked up the hitchhiker! that's become a routine on your trips and i was worried you wouldn't pick up a new friend this time.
